I hope to look back on my career and see that I've made a positive impact on the lives of our clients. I look forward to knowing that I've brought joy or peace into their financial future.
Kimmie Moehring supports Birchwood’s advisors in preparing for client meetings, organizes updates on the financial standings of clients and performs any follow-ups necessary to meet our client’s’ needs. As a former college athlete, she enjoys the highly collaborative environment of the Birchwood team. Athletics taught her that every role is significant for a successful outcome, and she brings her “A” game to our firm’s mission of helping clients have the lifestyle they want to live. After each initial client meeting, she works with the advisors to determine the needs of the clients and what can be done to make the next steps easy for them.
People enjoy working with Kimmie because of the responsibility she takes for all the projects she works on and the way she’s always ready to go the extra mile. She is motivated by the sense of accomplishment she gets from completing items on her checklist, as well as the camaraderie and atmosphere of the office. She has a unique ability to pursue the completion of transactions in an efficient manner while being personable with staff and clients.
Kimmie has a love of being outdoors and enjoys each season that Minnesota brings. During the warmer seasons, you’ll find her biking and playing volleyball and tennis or enjoying one of the many lakes; when the snow starts to fall, she breaks out her snowshoes. She also coaches volleyball and basketball and is involved in athletics in Minnetonka and is an active member of her church where she participates in Bible studies and mentoring. Most recently, she became a Big Sister with the Big Brother Big Sister program and loves spending time with her "Little".
After working in the financial aid department at Crown College, where she spent six years holding a variety of roles, Kimmie heard about the position at Birchwood through a friend. It was apparent early in the interview process that this position and team would be a great fit for her increasing interest in client service and finance. She has a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
